Lesson 2

Lesson 2 consists of five alternative activities that correspond to the five folklife genres introduced in Lesson 1, plus an optional extension focusing on foodways (traditional foods and related knowledge and skills). Teachers may concentrate on any one or more of the genres, depending on instructional needs and the needs and interests of students.
